Zep fan? Then this is for you! You are bidding on a LED ZEPPELIN super rare first LP and is undoubtedly the most sought-after and hard-to find jewel.

Reported only a few were press. Impossible to find.

What I have here is an unheard-of TEST PRESSING of this classic Led Zeppelin DEBUT album – easily one of the top-10 greatest and most influential Rock albums ever made.

When the album was recorded in December 1968 (released in January 1969), it marked – literally - the beginning of the new era and the new sound: Heavy Metal!

THIS ONE START DATED WAS DEC 30TH 1968!

While many test pressings often have alternate or demo- versions of known, later released songs, and while it is possible that this particular test pressing contains demo or alternate versions of some of the tracks, please don’t take our word that it does: I were unable to determine that there is much of a difference between this test pressing and the officially released version: it seems to us that the sound on this test pressing is a little `brighter` and `cleaner` than the original, somewhat muddy, Atlantic pressing, but this may have been caused by the first stamper generation used to make this pressing. A careful Led Zep aficionado may be able to detect slight differences and subtle variations in the mix we were unable to locate.

Now we come to the record itself ATLANTIC RECORDING STUDIOS.

A strong VG. Needless to say it's has a White Label. Further, to relate that it plays! Yes, all the way through! It is clearly very well played and has some surface marks but no gouges, it clicks here and there and is quite noisy but it doesn't jump. A good cleaning with a VIP will probably help.  

We should note that this album – like all test pressings –comes in a plain white, generic cardboard cover (with some tape on corner)

That this is the cool part. Hand writing w/ misspelling of LED ZEPPLIN and even Jimy.

This guy had no ideal on what he had.
