Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin I
Coveted 1st UK pressing from 1969 - identified by the red/plum Atlantic labels with Superhype credit error, uncrossed matrix in the runout, A1/B1 matrix endings, and Turquoise lettering sleeve quickly revised to orange as turquoise was not deemed 'hard rock'!
Serial number: 588171
1st Press identifiers: A1/B1 matrix endings, uncrossed matrix in the runout, Superhype credit error labels, turquoise sleeve
Matrix number endings: A 1 / B 1
Stamper codes: 1 1 5 / 1 8 1
Condition:
Vinyl: GOOD PLUS
Track A2 has a defect that causes skips. The rest of the record grades as VG with surface marks and light scratches visible that cause light background crackle that does not overpower the music. I've down graded this to G+ to reflect the defect on track A2 also.
Sleeve: GOOD PLUS
The sleeve has worn away at the spine centre and the rest of the sleeve has signs of wear and clearly visible.
Inner: EXCELLENT
Light signs of use.
