Description
Hey folks. Hope you like the offerings. Keep in mind I'm just a guy, not a business, and this is my personal collection.
Grading is cover/record. If 3 grades, record sides are graded separately. If one grade, it applies to the whole package.
All records are in vinyl sleeves with the record outside the cover, and shipped in record mailers.
SHIP TO US ONLY. Sorry, not going through the international thing, looks like too many hassles. And I think I filled out the ebay form correctly to show I ship only to the US, so if the listing says I ship internationally, I don't.
All single records are shipped media mail at $4 unless the listing specifies otherwise (like for a box set, etc.). If you have multiple wins I'll keep the shipping cost as low as possible (I'm not looking to make money on shipping so will ship close to cost, probably next $ up, so if actual shipping is $5.46 I'll charge $6, etc).
I generally ship on Monday for those who pay Sunday (I still work for a living and make these runs at lunch), so prompt payment works well for both of us.
Feedback and prompt payment appreciated. As usual, questions cheerfully answered for free.
So this one is:
Atlantic SD 8216, shrink, price sticker, M-/NM, NM labels
This is a rare MGM pressing with the catalog number (SD 8216) above the word ‘Stereo’ rather than to the right of the Atlantic logo like you see on most every other copy out there. Matrix numbers are:
ST-A-681461-A-1 AT RG W
ST-A-681462-A-1 AT RG W
And while the record is beautiful I gotta tell you that it sounds kinda flat, doesn’t have the punch of my keeper copy, which has the same catalog number (SD 8216 on the cover and record) but has the 75 Rockefeller address on the record label. My keeper also has much smaller trail-off areas, similar to a RL Led Zep II, so if you want what looks like a true 1st press, bid on this one, but if you want to rock, look for one like the one I kept. Far cheaper than the UK plums or Classic 200g’s.
