Description
LED ZEPPELIN I Re=pressing from 1977 on Atlantic Records pressed at Monarch in Los Angeles. 75 Rockefeller Plaza address on labels, SD 19126 catalog number form a title originally released in 1969 on Atlantic SD 8216.
VINYL in VG++ condition, a few sporadic light marks here and there, overall very nice luster, excellent sound quality. George Piros mastering as indicated by the "GP" etched in the runouts on side 1. This is one of the most notorious and favorite pressings of audiophiles/record nerds because of Piros' mastering. It destroys the first U.S pressing as well as the early plum UK pressings that sound bass-less and tinny in comparison.
COVER in VG+ with corner dings, light rubbing/staining, upper left corner damage with crease and some paper starting to come loose at top of spine. Spine is readable and solid despite the top, the bottom seam has some rubbing but is solid except a tiny bit at the opening with small paper loss. Top seam slight rubbing with some paper loss at opening.
INNER SLEEVE brown Atlantic inner in VG with seam split halfway down with paper loss, other seams have small splits in middle sections.
Notes: Labels include "MO" suffix (indicating Monarch pressing) and "Mfg By Atlantic Recording Corp 75 Rockefeller Plaza NY, NY "WB logo" A Warner Communications Company".
