LED ZEPPELIN II 2, UK 1ST PRESS (A2/B2) LP, LIVIN’ LOVIN’ WRECK ERROR, RED/PLUM
From my own personal collection.
Rare original 1969 UK 1st pressing on Atlantic red/plumb label. Catalogue no. 588198. Matrix numbers Av2/Bv2. Livin' Lovin' Maid on the sleeve, and Livin' Lovin' Wreck on label denotes a rare first pressing before the error was corrected. Record housed in the original lighter shade of brown gatefold sleeve and the original poly-lined inner sleeve
Condition as per the UK Record Collector grading system. I also use +/- if I think a record falls between two grade levels
Vinyl Condition:- VG visually, VG+ audio. Some visible surface marks and surface hairline scratches but they are shallow, the record plays fine and sounds VG+ with no major issues, no jumps or repeats. Machine cleaned and test played. Priced very fair due to it not being an EX or Mint grade, but a bargain for this Zeppelin rarity either way. Sleeve Condition:- VG. Wear on edges and spine. Ringwear on back and some general rub/wear on the front. All clearly photographed. Label Condition:- VG+. A few light spindle marks and faint speckling on a small area of side one label

Record Collector Grading System
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
