  LED ZEPPELIN

II

 Atlantic SD 8236 RARE '69 "RL" etched Robert Ludwig HOT MIX.  US 1st pressing, featuring Robert Ludwig's "hot" mastering on both sides. These were withdrawn early because the high bass levels caused low-grade cartridges to mistrack, leading people to return the album on the belief that it was defective. Another engineer was then hired to recut a much less "hot" version of the album, and that is the far more common version.
Original flat finish (non glossy) cover and Atlantic inner sleeve.

SIDE 2 Runoff: ST - A - 691672 - A  P  LW  AT  RL  ss

Jacket Grade: VG++ Little wear to gatefold cover art. A bit of light edge wear. Couple of tiny ding dents. No splits

Record Grade: CLEAN VG Little visible play wear. A few light, hairline surface scratches. Cleaned on the VPI and plays LOUD with minimal surface noise.
