Description:
- 1969 Australian first pressing VINYL LP in laminated gatefold sleeve
- Until 1971 the Atlantic label was distributed in Australia/New Zealand by the idiosyncratic Festival Records and the early Led Zeppelin LPs had green labels and some unusual artwork
- Warner Bros took control of the Atlantic label in 1971 and the LZ LPs were standardised
- This Festival distributed copy of Led Zeppelin II has several unusual features:
- The inside gatefold sleeve features a band photo which appeared on no other pressing of the LP around the world.
- The first two (at least) Led Zeppelin LPs were pressed in both mono and stereo and although this copy is stereo, the sleeve shows both the mono and stereo catalogue numbers on the back (see picture) and the side spine
- The outside cover has a high gloss lamination
Condition:

The record is in clean VERY GOOD+ condition. The vinyl has a high gloss and it plays very well with only a little surface noise in places and a few seconds of distortion on the final track

The labels are clean with moderate spindle trails

The sleeve is graded EXCELLENT with no damage or defects save for some light shelf wear/rubbing on the top and bottom seams. All the seams are tight and undamaged and the spine is fully readable
