The much sought after BEST sounding pressing of Led Zeppelin's classic album LED ZEPPELIN II (RL/ RL SS HOT CUT PRESSWELL!

One of the most sought after pressings of all time. Not only is it one of the BEST SOUNDING pressings of all time, but it's almost never seen in above VG condition due to the fact that everyone who had one played it to DEATH haha. I can't name many albums where finding a decent one in VG is seen as a huge score. Now imagine having one in EXCELLENT++ (AKA NEAR MINT- CONDITION). Well one of you will never have to wonder again.

The RL pressings were mastered by highly-renowned mastering engineer Robert Ludwig and are known as the "HOT MIX" due to the intense loudness of the mix -- the way Led Zeppelin was meant to be heard! When you A/B test them with non-RL copies it is immediately clear how much of the ferociousness is lost on later pressings. These copies are incredibly scarce as when this was initially released it was withdrawn due to the fact that it caused the less-capable turntables of that time to skip. This just so happened to happen to the daughter of an Atlantic Records executive which led to production of all copies of this pressing swiftly coming to a halt.

Subsequently this created a perfect storm where the best pressing is also one of the rarest.

One of the few ones in existence still without ANY scratches. Absolutely gorgeous with minimal signs of play. Some faint paper withdrawal lines on side 2, nothing of actual issue. You'll never come across a copy as clean as this, 99% of these are trashed. Graded conservatively even at EX++. This pressing SHAKES THE ROOM! If you want a final copy that will give you the authentic RL experience of the band being in the room with you, this is the copy! Once it's gone, it's gone.

Cleaning: All vinyl sold by me is carefully cared for and cleaned with one of the most effective processes in the field. Manually cleaned with a Disco Stat + Loricraft combination with a formulated distilled water and alcohol mixture, and a tergikleen + glycol surfactant. The process is then finished off with an Ultrasonic Degritter cleaning to blast out and rinse any other impurities that may still remain. This is one of the key factors into why the vinyl I sell on sounds so clean and lacks the surface noise you may get from a seller who doesn't go to the same lengths as this vinyl obssessed guy over here :)!
