LED ZEPPELIN II LP - Robert Ludwig RL SS Hot Mix SD 8236 Columbia Pitman pressing featuring the famed Robert Ludwig "RL" and "SS" initials on both sides. The condition of the vinyl is pretty rough, still and enjoyable listen, this can be a good starter copy for anyone interested in this pressing. The record is warped so skips a few times on each side because of the warp. If you're able to fix the warp (i know there are ways judging by online research) you might be able to fix the beginning skips. There is also a repeating skip in the beginning of Moby Dick. Several scratches/scuffs that create crackle throughout. When the music gets going this thing still rocks!! Graded F for Fine condition
Cover is in VG close to VG+, there are initials in black paint on bottom right hand corner, corner dings, edge bump on bottom left hand side of the front cover.

US 1st pressing, featuring Robert Ludwig's "hot" mastering on both sides. These were withdrawn early because the high bass levels caused low-grade cartridges to mistrack, leading people to return the album on the belief that it was defective. Another engineer was then hired to recut a much less "hot" version of the album, and that is the far more common version. 

Labels include "CP" suffix (indicating Columbia Pitman pressing) and "Mfg By Atlantic Recording Corp., 1841 Broadway, New York, N.Y.".
