Led Zeppelin II
original first 69' pressing
Bob (Robert) ludwig mastered thin run out trail off on side 2 with initials etched on
both sides. Complete with correct inner sleeve. One of the cleanest (no split) covers out there no doubt, without the riaa gold sticker or the second pressing song stickers. The only thing I see here is a bit or corner rubbing. No marks or initials, and no ring impression
I played this one a couple of times, and cranked up loud or at lower levels it's a very clean playback without distractions (although it does have some needle marks, they are superficial enough as to not effect the quality in any way.)
I've heard these Ludwig pressings before, but this one has the best sound. Obviously it has been played with sharp needles, and retains that full, deep sound. I'm amazed at how I can't turn up the volume high enough to cause distortion.
No dishing or warp, and both labels are very clean as are the spindle holes.
Still has a good amount of gloss/shine. This is a "keeper" copy, not a filler till a better one comes along! It may not!
