LED ZEPPELIN III first PRESS 1970
Original vinyl on UK first press Atlantic
Includes the label error crediting Peter Grant as executive producer, an error spotted and corrected almost immediately.
A5/B5 matricies - the earliest you can find for this lp, with the famous 'So mote it be' quotes in the dead wax.
Surface marks, plays with some crackle and a few heavy clicks, especially on Tangerine, but some tracks are lovely and clean sounding.
HOWEVER, there is a nick in the vinyl in the run in grooves. This makes no difference to side 1. To side 2 you have to place the needle carefully so it plays properly. This is BEFORE the track starts so does not affect the music but it needs to be done manually otherwise will stick. PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU UNDERSTAND THIS.
The sleeve is not the original, and has Made in Germany to rear. There is no wheel. Light browning and slight loss to front opening. See photos which form part of the description.
