VINYL (VISUAL)
Thickly pressed quality vinyl, you only find with the early red/plum labels.
It looks fantastic, and you have to hold it to the light to see the light surface marks and wispy lines but it looks fantastic.
EXCELLENT
VINYL (PLAY GRADED)
It sits flat on the turntable, no warping.
It sounds fantastic with only the slightest of static in the quiet moments.
The marks do not affect play, apart from the beginning of FRIENDS where it does for a brief second skip in the instrumental part, I have had three copies of this record and everyone has done the same, seems strange, the rest is stunning. As with most vinyl there is some static/crackle and the odd tick in quiet moments, but this could be down to the record needing a professional clean, I do not have this facility. Had it not been for the slight skip it would have been graded excellent+
VERY GOOD+ EXCELLENT
SLEEVE
First issue fully laminated E J. Day Gatefold sleeve is in fantastic condition, I don’t think you will find better.
It lays flat no curving as with most you find, and no yellowing it’s as clean as you get.
It easily grades at near mint, it really is that good, see photos, all the corners are square and true, see photos I will show it in detail. CLICK HERE
The wheel works perfectly,
The sleeve has NO rips, NO tears and absolutely NO graffiti or stickers whatsoever,.
The spine is excellent no rubbing whatsoever
OVERALL NR MINT
POLY-LINED INNER SLEEVE
It is in excellent condition, no rips or tears and virtually no creasing, it has plastic bags can be dangerous in blue with the all important

LABELS
Labels are the sensational red / plum ATLANTIC format in mint condition. With the ATLANTIC logos to the left of the central holes on both sides of the labels to confirm that this is the very first issue of this magnificent rarity. Has the original first pressing "produced by Jimmy Page executive producer Peter Grant" label texts, later pressings do not have this, Both labels have only 1 or 2 very light spindle lines. NO graffiti, NO rips NO tears or stickers.
EXCELLENT+ NR MINT
RECAP; this is a great example of this first press album, had it not been for the slight skip in Friends, this would of been virtually a mint copy, the sleeve is absolutely fantastic. Please look at all the photos and please feel free to ask any questions.
I WILL SEND 1ST CLASS RECORDED DELIVERY IN THE UK, OUTSIDE THE UK INTERNATIONAL SIGNED FOR, ALL POSTAGE INCLUDES INSURANCE, THIS IS A MUST.
IT WILL BE SENT IN AN ALBUM MAILER WITH STIFFENERS.
Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide
MINT:
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks
or deterioration in sound quality.
The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition.
Records advertised as sealed or un-played should be mint.
EXCELLENT:
The record shows some signs of having been played,
but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD:
The record has obviously been played many times,
but displays no major deterioration in sound quality,
despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items,
without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD:
The record has been played so much
that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated,
perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
The cover and contents suffer from folding,
scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR:
The record is still just playable but it has not been cared for properly
and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
