Matrix No's: 2401002 A-7/B-6 ~ K 50002 A/B
Also Etched into the Dead Wax on Side 1 is "Do what thou wilt".
On offer here is the CLASSIC LED ZEPPELIN III Album from 1970.
This is a Very Rare Mispressing with the Vinyl & Cover in EXCELLENT CONDITION!!!
This Album was given to me by a Record Company Rep and has been carefully stored away and unplayed for over 30 years. This is the only example I have ever seen with both the Original Polydor Matrix Numbers and the later K 50002 Matrix Numbers stamped into the dead wax. It also has "Do what thou wilt" etched on side 1. There was originally a "SAMPLE" sticker on the side 2 label, which I removed for some reason (idiot), but you can still see a faint removal mark if you look closely at the photo
The Vinyl really is in BEAUTIFUL ORDER. There are just the lightest of inner sleeve withdrawal marks and some light surface marks, but they in no way detract from this Classic L.P.
There is just a touch of light surface noise, which is only audible in the quietest passages, but there are NO heavy clicks or pops and NO skips or jumps, just SUPERB AUDIO!!!
The labels with the "Peter Grant" text are in Beautiful Order, with just a couple of light spindle marks, but there is NO writing or grubby marks (other than the already mentioned sticker removal mark) and they are still crisp and bright.
The "E. J. Day Group" Gatefold Cover with the Iconic wheel (in full working order), is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, Beautifully flat, with Virtually NO edge or spine wear (see photo's). SUPERB!!!
