LED ZEPPELIN III - ORIGINAL VINYL LP - FIRST PRESSING
ATLANTIC 2401002 - 1970
Original first pressing LP in very good condition (see full description below).
Much sought after Red/Maroon label - Gatefold rotating wheel sleeve - Catalogue number 2401002 (no space) - Issued 1970.
This was purchased new by me, and forms part of my own collection which I have now decided to convert to CD. It has been been stored for at least 30 years and has not been played during that time. It was played only a few times before then.
I'm no collector, or expert and have looked at others peoples' descriptions to help with mine. That description is as follows:
Sleeve- Very Good - Spine intact, titles clear - A couple of minor creases and some light discolouration to edges. - Revolving disc unmarked and rotates freely.
Inner Sleeve - Good condition - plastic inner intact - A couple of very small tears to area around centre 'window'- Some creasing.and discolouration to glued edges.
Vinyl - Side 1- Good condition - A couple of very minor surface scratches. There are two linear shadows to this side caused during storage. (see photo). These do not affect playing or sound quality at all. May possibly be removed with appropriate cleaner. Some crackling but pays well.
Vinyl Side 2 - Excellent condition. A couple of light surface scratches only. Some crackling but pays well.
Labels - Excellent. - Virtually no spindle marks - no wear.
All-in-all, a very good copy of this much sought after record.
