Description

Led zeppelin Led Zeppelin III vinyl LP Early pressing with red plum labels and Peter Grant credit Cat. no. 2401002 A5/B5 matrices with 'do what thou wilt' and 'so mote it be' in the run off

Vinyl is in stunning condition. Bright, glossy and new looking. Only the faintest of sleeve removal scuffs are visible under strong light. EX+ Audio is also fantastic as expected. No jumps, sticks, or loud pops and no distortion. Plays through clear and crisp with very little surface noise even between tracks. EX+ Labels are very clean with no writing or stickers. A couple of light spindle marks. EX+ Outer sleeve is also in great condition. Clean, solid and intact with very little signs of wear. Opening edge still sharp. Spine is still square, solid and perfectly readable. Some wrinkling to the laminate on the rear but I think this is a factory error rather than age related wear. Also the wheel has become detached from the inner spindle but otherwise this is in fine condition. EX Original inner is also included with no splits but some creasing to the corners. VG+

Overall a beautiful example of this rare record. EX+/EX

Gradings;

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc..

Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
