Description
LED ZEPPELIN III – ATLANTIC 2401 002 – Ist Pressing – Red/Plum label
1970 Atlantic De Luxe stereo first pressing catalogue number 2401 002 Led Zeppelin’s 3rd album. Red/plum label, gatefold rotating wheel sleeve with credits to EJ Day Group. "Do What thou wilt" in run-off side 1, "Produced by Jimmy Page" and "Executive Producer: Peter Grant" in top section of label. Catalogue No. 2401002 (without a gap) on label. Matrix Nos. 2401002 A-5 & 2401002 B-5.
The disc is in fantastic condition; occasional hairline marks and 2 "smudges" on side 1, no visible marks on side 2. We have listened right through: 3 ticks on each side – but you’ll really have to concentrate to hear them! Sleeve is great! Wheel in perfect rotating condition; rear has a corner crease and some edge discolouration. Overall a real gem.
