Description
This is an ORIGINAL 1970 PHILIPS FIRST PRESSING OF THE 1970 ATLANTIC RECORDS U.S. LP set titled 'Led Zeppelin III' from legendary rockers Led Zeppelin. It is Atlantic Records U.S. catalog number SD 7201, die-cut gatefold cover with WORKING pinwheel, 'Broadway' inscription at the bottom of the labels, with its original Atlantic Records stock inner sleeve with pictures of other then-current Atlantic Records LPs.
Specific to this pressing with the "RI" suffix; 1.) Labels include "RI" suffix indicating Philips Recording Company, Inc. (1970)
2.) Labels have the address printed as "Mfg By Atlantic Recording Corp., 1841 Broadway, New York, N.Y.". Condition of record is a real niceNM- with just one extremely light and barely visible surface mark which cannot be felt and does not affect play. Condition of cover is VG+ with some slight wrinkles, some ring and contact wear, and some wear along the edges and on the corners. Front cover inner wheel spins easily when turned. Atlantic Records inner sleeve has splits in two side edges which I have repaired with clear tape, is otherwise in nice shape. This LP would be a nice addition to any Led Zeppelin or classic rock record collection!1 Media mail postage within the U.S. is $4.00.
