Released in 1970. On the first issue plum and red ATLANTIC label, I am offering today this first UK pressing of this classic third LED ZEPPELIN album titled "LED ZEPPELIN III". This is the rarer first issue with Peter Grant label credit which was removed from later pressings. The vinyl is in very good showing some back rash and a dull patch on the IMMIGRANT SONG and plays with excellent audio but there is some noise during the run ins.
The album comes complete with Zacron designed E J DAY fully laminated gimmix gatefold sleeve with fully working picture wheel which when turned shows lots of different pictures of the band and other things. This sleeve apart from some laminate creasing caused in the manufacturing is in clean condition free from unwanted splits or stickers etc a presentable example with fully legible spine.
I have just played this through for these listing purposes and I am pleased to say that it plays well with absolutely no sticks or skips etc but there was a little noise during the intro of THE IMMIGRANT SONG. Overall a very nice playing example
The VINYL, The Vinyl visually is in very good condition. It displays a few very light marks but it plays well with absolutely no nasty sticks or skips etc with mostly excellent audio.
The SLEEVE, The E J Day printed Zacron designed fully laminated gimmix gatefold sleeve is in clean condition with fully legible spine text and fully working wheel with no splits stickers or unwanted writing etc but there is some laminate creases caused in manufacturing.
The LABELS, The Atlantic labels are clean, showing minimal spindle traces. Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc.
The INNER, The original generic inner is clean and free from unwanted writing or splits etc.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
