Description

A happy New Year to all of you who have visited JAYROB over the past year.

Over the next few weeks I will be listing some more classic rock albums, many of which are in near top condition and most of which are long deleted on vinyl~~I AM SURE THERE WILL BE NO NEED TO LOOK OUT FOR A FUTURE UPGRADE!!!!!

~~~I hope you find something of interest~~~~
LED ZEPPELIN
Title ~ 'III'
Exceptionally hard to find UK ATLANTIC 1970 first press with gatefold COG COVER sleeve. This Red/Plum label first issue has 'Produced by Jimmy Page' towards the top of the label on each side and 'Executive producer Peter Grant ' immediately below the Page credit. Only the VERY FIRST PRESSINGS had this and later pressings credited only Jimmy Page only and towards the bottom of the label.
Also the Cat no. is 2401002~later pressings had a dash after the '1'.
The sleeve is fully laminated gatefold and the cog intact with hidden brass stud~~i.e. it does not poke through the front sleeve!
The vinyl feels slightly thicker than later pressings and this contributes to the overall stunning sound~~I rate the package just short of EX on looks in bright light~~But I can say that the vinyl quality on play is well beyond EX~~~in other words it sounds great and no need to look for a future upgrade.
 1970 UK ATLANTIC STEREO original first press with gatefold fully laminated sleeve.
Cat No ~ 2401002
OVERALL CONDITION
SLEEVE ~ VG++
(tiny right margin creases near cog but nothing too serious)
VINYL ~ VG++ plays as EX-
(vinyl really does sound great ~I am sure you will not be disappointed!)
GRADING : I grade records firstly visually and sample aurally for overall sound quality. Should you feel I have misgraded please remember that I offer a full NO QUIBBLE refund or agreed price reduction if I am off the mark.
NEAR MINT (NM)~~a top copy~audio listening and visual grading has not revealed any imperfections. Lp is guaranteed to sound superb and shows very little sign of playing.
NEAR EXCELLENT (EX or EX+)~~careful visual inspection audio sampling has not revealed any major imperfections such as clicks or skips~~the LP should sound superb and it will be hard to find a better copy. Sleeve and any inserts/inners are in excellent shape. You will not be disappointed.
VG++ ~~you will not be disappointed with this LP~may have some light surface hairlines under bright light but will sound true without distortion or any major flaw. Sleeve will be in good order.
VG+~~ audio listening has revealed some limited surface noise (especially at run~in groove and towards start of each side and the run~out groove) or the odd crackle here and there. Visually the Lp may have light scuffs but nothing major though has obviously been played a few times. There should be no skips or repeats and play without distortion.
Sleeve might have light creases or minor ringwear or spine wear but nothing too serious.
Overall the Lp and sleeve are still quite acceptable and a better copy may never come along!
STILL PERFECTLY PLAYABLE AND STILL A VERY ACCEPTABLE SOUND!!
VG~~not great and may have surface noise throughout but I will flag up this grading rarely.
The sleeve will have seen better days.
 Probably worth it for rarity value.
All orders guaranteed professionally packed.
