original UK 1st pressing in fabulous very near mint condition - NO scratches - barely even any super-light surface hairlines or paper scuffs - far and away the best copy I have ever seen and genuinely stunning - fantastic high gloss and fresh grooves with no needle wear - both labels immaculate - absolutely bright and sharp with totally minimal play traces to the spindle holes - Celebration Day mis-titled Celebration on side one label - with the exception of their 4th LP this is the hardest of the ‘plum’ label Led Zeppelin albums to find, due to the then impending Kinney Group takeover of Atlantic Records - this resulted in WEA distribution within the UK and re-numbering of existing Polydor Records stocks via the use of circular adhesive stickers which were placed over the titles and info area of the centre right interior gatefold layout - the remarkable sleeve, featuring the most advanced and revolutionary design ever seen at the time, is in truly amazing, and virtually as-new, mint condition - the spine is beautifully flat, clear and bright - normally this cover has been opened and closed so many times that the lamination simply splits and breaks apart, leaving the ‘clarifoil’ tatty and the titles barely legible - this gem is crisp and sharp! - usually there is discolouration, ‘thumbing’ and wear around the centre right front cut-out, where the wheel is turned - this beauty is perfect! - the four corners are precisely square and sharp - absolutely unbelievable and as-new - all seams tight and undamaged -  opening edges razor-sharp - no circular wear or indeed any other wear and tear whatsoever - many copies suffered from ‘ridged’ lamination, even when brand new - these creases were often found across the entire front and rear cover, even on the interior - this one has none - it is beautiful - exceptional! - no shelf-wear, no edge wear, none of the eleven die-cut ‘spyholes’ have any lifting, fraying or other faults / damage - all are clean, crisp and sharp - incredibly, this very tactile ‘hands-on’ cover shows virtually no signs of handling in almost 35 years! - increasingly rare original third album by possibly the most important group of the blues and progressive rock era and arguably the band’s finest work - there just aren’t enough ‘plum’ label originals to satisfy demand as world interest in this legendary group just continues to escalate - a timeless UK classic in pristine condition by the incomparable LED ZEPPELIN
