This is really superb original early A5-B5 UK issue in brilliant ultra-clean playing condition. The thick chunky vinyl lies flat and is in amazing NEAR MINT condition and actually still looks as good as new. The fully laminated early E.J.Day gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition and the plum/red atlantic labels are superb. This brilliant original UK Led Zeppelin album has been barely played and it would be very difficult to find another original UK copy that looks, plays and sounds as good as this copy on offer here. This is just a top copy in top condition that will definitely not disappoint in any way.

THICK VINYL = NM (plays EX+++/M-)

Both sides of the thick chunky vinyl are amazingly clean with a brilliant original deep glossy sheen, there are no bad surface marks, scuffs or scratches at all, both sides look/play and sound absolutely superb from beginning to end, this album plays free of annoying clicks, pops or crackle and the sound quality is brilliantly clear throughout, the entire album plays and sounds as new. Jimmy's lead guitar on the superb very long blues-rock track 'Since I've Been Loving You' sounds simply amazingly crisp and razor sharp with almost a CD quality to it. This is just a stunning original UK copy that has been so well looked after and will not disappoint in any way.

RED MAROON LABELS = NM

Both plum/red Atlantic labels are just about faultless, there is no wear and no marks and i can only see one light spindle trace on one side and just a few on the other, these labels really are near perfect.

FULLY LAMINATED E.J.DAY GATEFOLD COVER = EX

The fully laminated gatefold sleeve is the far more desirable earliest thick laminated UK E.J.Day issue with the album track listing on the inside right gatefold, many slightly later uk plum/red issues came in a slightly thinner German made gatefold sleeve with the track listing switched to the inside left gatefold. This original E.J.Day gatefold on offer here is in really excellent condition, most of these original thickly laminated Led Zep 3 covers suffer from unsightly age yellowing and nasty looking lamination creases and lines but this cover is in great shape with just some light signs of wear, ageing and discolouration, apart from these very minor flaws this cover is in superb clean condition. The very colourful rotating wheel is still very firmly fixed and works perfect. The original poly-lined inner sleeve is in very clean defect free condition.

It really would be very difficult to find a better looking playing and sounding original UK copy than this one on offer here, the winning bidder will definitely not be disappointed with this super-clean mint- playing copy of Led Zeppelin's essential third album.
