Description
LED ZEPPELIN III Vinyl LP 2401-002 UK 1st Press A5/B5 Peter Grant Credit VG+/EX-
Rare original very 1st pressing with Peter Grant Credit on label.
Matrix endings A-5/B-5 and “do what thou wilt/so more it be”
Vinyl has scuffs and light marks when viewed under strong light and a more noticeable feelable scuff on final track, side 2 “Hats Off To Roy Harper”. The record plays through with very nice clear audio in the main. A couple of instances of light crackle between tracks and beginning of “since I’ve been loving you”. “Hats off to Roy Harper” does also have some light background crackle through the final half but again to me this doesn’t overpower the music. There are no other issues. no nasty pops, clicks, sticks or jumps. Visually grades VG only but plays VG+ with the majority of the record playing with lovely clear audio.
Original gatefold sleeve with working wheel. EX- condition. No writing, rips, tears or major wear. A little discoloured perhaps but certainly nothing major. Spine is really nice. See photos.
No original inner but will include a brand new poly lined inner.
Overall a pretty decent playing, but not perfect, original 1st pressing.
