On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by LED ZEPPELIN IV" and is an ORIGINAL 1971 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press ATLANTIC DELUXE label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION - AND CLEARLY HAS HARDLY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1971 UK ATLANTIC 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS ATLANTIC LABEL, 1ST PRESS LYRIC INNER SLEEVE WITH THE FLIPBACKS AND 1ST PRESS MATT GATEFOLD COVER!!!!
This auction is for the incredibly hard to find plum/red label issued in 1971. This is a bit special really as the condition of this album is in one word "fabulous". This will be an upgrade for most discerning collectors and does not show up very often in this collectible investment grade condition!!
SO HARD TO FIND THIS ALBUM IN THIS FANTASTIC CONDITION. THIS WILL BE AN UPGRADE FOR MOST SERIOUS COLLECTORS. IT IS VERY HARD THESE DAYS TO STILL FIND THIS GEM IN THIS SMASHING CONDITION. IT ILL BE A LONG TIME BEFORE THIS TURNS UP AGAIN IN THIS SPLENDID CONDITION WITH AGAIN MORE TAKERS THAN EVER BEFORE. THIS IS AN EXCELLENT INVESTMENT PIECE.
Vinyl: EX++ TO NM. Probably barely played. Audio is A++ and this vinyl sounds out of this world, a majestic album that went on to be an absolute classic. The audio has beautiful separation and there is no background noise. I played this twice in full and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was even tempted to keep this as it will be very hard to find this again, it is indeed megarare now in this timewarp condition. Take a look at the labels and the spindle hole which still has vinyl debris attached from the pressing plant!! It sits totally flat on the turntable. NO hairlines, NO marks etc. even under a very strong light this looks splendid without any blemish. Needless to say NO jumps, clicks or ticks. This will be a fantastic upgrade for most long time collectors!!
Gatefold Sleeve: EX++. Fantastic looked after sleeve without any wear or damage. The lightest of bottom edge storage wear stop from grading full NM. This beauty has been looked after with great care. You do not find them like this these days. The pictures tell all!!! There are not even any creases and no edge wear. Even the spine retains all original splendour. The opening must rate the crispest I have ever seen for this album. No writing, no marks , the best I have ever come across!! This is the ultimate upgrade copy!!
The original inner sleeve is still there. It has the lyrics to "Stairway to Heaven" printed. This is the original inner sleeve with the thicker paper which has the feel of the old ink blotting paper. It is hardly ever seen without some wear or tear. This one is far above average without any writing, tears or aging. It does have a small bottom seam split. Never seen one without a split for decades though and I think most people will be very delighted with this beauty.
This is a unique investment opportunity!!! Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible so late in the day. Get this while you still can. This value of the album is only going to go one way ... up and up ... until it will be totally unavailable at all for a reasonable price.
