LED ZEPPELIN IV
PLAY-GRADE REPORT BELOW

MISTY MOUNTAIN HOP ON LABEL
SLEEVE - has feathering to the opening. Light corner creasing to the bottom right. A 3cm split to the bottom right of the opening sleeve, and a 2cm split to the top right of the opening sleeve. There are no unsightly marks. There is no writing. Conservatively graded as GOOD PLUS.
INNER SLEEVE - has a neatly taped bottom seam. The left side has a 3cm seam split. The right side has a 4cm seam split. There is a 4mm by 2mm spot to the center of the rear. There are no other marks. There is no writing. There are no other rips or tears. Conservatively Graded as GOOD PLUS.
LABELS - have light spindle trails to both sides. The sticker to side 1 has been picked at slightly, as shown in the photos. The are no marks. There is no writing. Graded as VERY GOOD PLUS condition.
VINYL: VISUAL:
SIDE 1: Beautiful sheen, no greying, just a few very light surface marks. Without doubt visually in EXCELLENT condition. SIDE 2: Beautiful sheen, no greying, just a couple of very light surface marks. Without doubt visually in EXCELLENT condition.
AND NOW FOR THE GOOD BIT - THE AUDIO PLAY GRADING !!! :-)
I put the record on my deck, sat down with a pen and paper, and prepared to scribble down all faults/blemishes/repeated clicks/jumps/pops etc etc !
As it transpired, I just sat there, virtually still, listening to one of the all time great albums with SUPERB audio.
Throughout the 8 tracks, I heard just one light pop, probably dust !
Some of the dead wax was silent, but most of the tracks had very light surface noise between them.
The intros to "Battle of Evermore" and "Stairway" had a touch of surface noise for a few moments.
The quieter moments on Side 2 were even better, "Going To California" was sublime.
There were no blemishes, no repeated clicks, no jumps, nothing, just the one light pop and a touch of surface noise.
I would be very surprised if anybody disagreed with my audio play-grade of EXCELLENT PLUS.
I have found this difficult to price. The sleeve is generally GOOD PLUS, whilst the audio is so easily EXCELLENT PLUS !!!
