Rare 1st transitional matrix copy.

Atlantic changed their labels from Red/Plum to Orange/Green. During this time there was a period of transition and a few pressings were made with the new labels but using the original master tapes. This piece of vinyl is a very rare 1st Transitional copy. This is very collectable I have seen this go for £122 on here, don`t miss this investment oppotunity.

You are bidding on a very rare item, this has the original Matrix 2401012 with the first press A3/B4. This also has the new Kinney matrix K50008 A/B. As in the original 1st press it has the famous PORKY, PECKO DUCK in the Runoffs. This record also has the "Top" instead of "Hop" mispress. I also noticed that there is an Indent of the word "ATLANTIC" on Side 2 of the label. It looks like "ATLANTIC" has been  stamped into the plastic, very unusual.

This is in Excellent + condition the Matt Gatefold cover is in particulary good condition, the best I have see. I played it today and it sounded great. I have supplied many pictures for you to view please look.

·        Inner lyric sleeve has flaps and no catalogue code.

·        This has the original Matt gatefold cover, later ones had glossy covers.

Lyric Sheet. This is slightly split on all 2 sides, these are always like this. I will leave it up to the winner to fix it.

GRADING.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

I am selling all my Vinyl, I purchased it all from new when I was younger.  I play all my Vinyl before I list it and I grade it honestly. I supply links in many of my auctions to show the buyer high quality pictures. I have already sold quite a few on here with many satisfied customers.

I send all my records out with quality mailers and cardboard inserts. I post Worldwide and I use Royal Mail Airmail small packets service, this is a fast and good service. I recommend that buyers pay extra for Airsure as this offers a signed for Recorded feature, this is £3.50 more.  I keep the proof of postage of all my items, I will not be held responsible for any loss or damage of item/items unless the Recorded Service is chosen by the buyer.
