Description
- Led Zeppelin released their fourth studio album in November 1971 on Atlantic Records. It was issued without a title or the band's name on the cover. There isn't even a catalog number on the spine. It is widely, but unofficially, referred to as "Led Zeppelin IV" or just "Untitled." The disc labels have symbols representing each of the four band members but the only one that is pronounceable was Page's symbol "ZoSo" which became another way some people identify the album. It contains the band's seminal song "Stairway To Heaven" and has sold over 40 million copies worldwide.
- This copy of (SD 7208) is from the First Pressing nearly 50-years-ago and is in excellent condition. The gatefold cover has only minor wear and is easily VG+ and the original inner sleeve is pristine. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays cleanly and is also VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered at Atlantic Studios in NYC by George Piros (AT/GP) and George Peckham (Pecko) and this copy was pressed by Monarch Record Mfg. Co. in Los Angeles. The Side One dead wax is etched ST-A-712285 DD AT/GP (MR) ?16345 (2) PR PECKO except the Monarch (MR) logo which is stamped.
- In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.

- This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 50 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
