Description

LED ZEPPELIN IV PORKY/PECKO DUCK With PETER GRANT CREDIT AND LED ZEPPELIN LOWER ON LABEL LP 12" Vinyl Record - VERY RARE and HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER!!

Welcome to my Auction of this fantasically rare record. Over the next few weeks i am auctioning my entire collection jam packed with great titles.
On offer today IS my pride and joy. The greatest rock and roll album of all time IMHO. LED ZEPPELIN IV with the Peter Grant executiove producer credit and LED Zeppelin on the lower half of the label AND Pressed by none other than the legendary GEORGE PECKHAM hence the PORKY-PECKO DUCK etched on the dead wax.

I am of the opinion that the serious collectors out there dont need telling the provenance of such albums so i wont bore you all by detailing line after line of tedious rubbish.

Just a few little lines on the run off Dead wax information for you though,

Side A: PECKO DUCK 2401012 A//3 11 3

Side B: PORKY 2401012 B//3 11  3

I classify the condition of all my records as per the Rare Record Collectors Guide.

I never refer to vinyl as MINT unless brand new.

This vinyl I classify as Excellent+ almost MINT-. The record shows signs of play but there is very very little lessening of sound quality. I am gutted to be losing this amazing LP. The sound quality is utterly fantastic and you could hope to get a better example of the album that sent this quartet stratospheric all over the world.

The gatefold cover and most notably the original inner sleeve ( Notoriously Prone to disintegration over time) are in EXCELLENT+ condition.

This is the finest copy of the album I have ever owned and am ever likely to own. It is quite simply
an astonishing music achievement.

The cover and packaging have slight wear and tear but commensurate with use over the years.

This is an extremely rare record and almost never comes up for auction and I sincerly hope it goes to a good home.

I will not sell this record to Russia and anywhere in South America. Sorry!

Postage:  Uk or International signed for only. For your peace of mind and for mine.
For this particular LP, the postage is slightly more.

Every record I put up for auction has the vinyl removed from the insert and placed in a new anti static sleeve. The album is then put into a hard plastic sleeve prior to sending in a professional LP mailer with strengthend sides to protect the record.

NEXT UP: A PROPER VERY VERY RARE BELTER FROM MY FAVOURITE GROUP OF ALL TIME, THE MIGHTY:

                                          PINK FLOYD

Cheers for looking and remember, dont let someone else have it!!!!!!
