Description

This is a UK 1971 original of Led Zeppelin's "Led Zeppelin IV".

Plum Label with BOTH 'Executive Producer Peter Grant' and 'LED ZEPPELIN' at the bottom of the label credits.
Atlantic Plum Label 2401012 - A3/B3 matrix (1st Pressing).

I've been collecting for years and spent decades trying to get this album in genuine NEAR MINT and this is the best copy I could get.
The gatefold sleeve is NEAR MINT as you can see from the photos. Their is an indent in one corner (picture 4 which I've shown - seems to be the way the card was cut).
The Inner Sleeve has the fold-over flap (originals have this ) and apart from some minor creases is EX+. Crucially the bottom of the inner sleeve is not cut through or torn by the album - as so many were.
The LP itself is EX to NR MINT (incredibly clean) and has virtually no spindle wear (as the photo of the labels shows). There are no scratches, marks etc.

The album has been professionally cleaned and dried on a LORICRAFT AUDIO PR6 cleaning machine and put in Poly-lined inner bag.
This record doesn't just 'look' clean - it 'plays' clean - and there's a huge difference. It sounds unbelievable compared to a CD.

There's a reason why Zeppelin plum labels are so sought after - the British pressings are glorious - they really are.
