Description

Cleaned and play tested this copy sounds great, slight crackles in the dead grooves and quieter moments but a very enjoyable copy. Light surface marks throughout.

Gatefold sleeve also in great shape, does have an original price sticker on the back, but is a good solid example with no splits or serious damage.

Sadly the original inside sleeve is a bit worn out ( see pictures) and is now in a polylined generic white sleeve.

Atlantic red/white/plum labels.

? 1971

Of 8 known 'plum' label variants, this is the 8th. Specific to this label variant are:

2. 'Under license from Atlantic Recording Corp.' in white area under ATLANTIC on left side.

3. LED ZEPPELIN is printed above spindle hole

4. Catalogue number at 3 o'clock above circular Atlantic logo reads 'deluxe 2401012'

5. There is no Peter Grant credit, and song publishing credits are: Kinney Music Ltd./Superhype Music Inc.
