This is the untitled Led Zeppelin IV album released by Atlantic Records (SD 7208) in 1971, This album is certified platinum with over 23 million being sold in United States. This particular album is an early press so identified with the 1841 Broadway, New York address on the label and year 1971 (later changed to Rockefeller address about 1973). The dead wax for this particular vinyl includes following stampings: SIDE ONE: PECKO ST-A-712285 D and SIDE TWO: PECKO DUCK ST-A-712286 D. Also noted is a stamp PR on each side. This vinyl is in exceptionally nice condition showing only a few light scratches on each side and producing an outstanding sound with no surface noise, skips or other distractions. This vinyl with a like new label is rated conservatively as VG++. The original heavy inner sleeve is rated a strong NM (unlikely to find a nicer one).

The outer gatefold jacket does have some storage wear on edges, softening of corners, light ring wear on front and rear cover, two little nicks on back cover and some fading on edges of inner gatefold (similar to ring wear-see photo). There are no seam splits, added writings or other defects noted to jacket . It is rated VG+. This rare early pressing will be shipped in a heavy duty record mailer with vinyl, inner, jacket separated and within a new re-sealable clear poly outer sleeve which will be bubble wrapped well for protection.
