Here’s a terrific copy of this legendary worldwide Led Zeppelin rarity. Following an error at the pressing plant, a handful of UK copies of Led Zep IV were manufactured with Asylum labels instead of Atlantic ones. The facts about exactly when and how it came to exist are not known, but some believe it was intended for the Irish market, though one collector says he bought one in the north of England. Either way, very few have ever surfaced, and this one's as good as you're ever likely to find.
The disc is in EX shape, with surface marks that barely affect play.
The labels have no spindle wear.
The gatefold sleeve is in EX shape, with minor signs of wear and no splits or writing.
The textured inner sleeve is in EX shape, with no splits or writing.
The side one label gives track 3 as 'The Battle Of Evenmore'.
STRAWBERRY is stamped into the dead wax on both sides. The matrix numbers are K50008 A and K50008 B. Both sides also have an X scratched into the dead wax.
