LED ZEPPELIN  -  ‘In Through The Out Door’    LP     UK     1979     Swansong  SSK59410

Type “E” sleeve.  

With inner sleeve and outer brown paper bag cover. 

CONDITION:       I strive to provide an accurate and honest appraisal of condition.  It’s in my best interests to do so.  I WANT YOU TO COME BACK!    All records are checked in good natural light and play tested at a loud volume (unless described as sealed, brand new or stated otherwise).   All used records are cleaned using a Moth vacuum record cleaning machine prior to play testing.    STRICT  U.K. MAGAZINE  'RECORD COLLECTOR'  GRADING SYSTEM USED.

Playing condition is, at its worst, VG-, but with a lot of the album playing better than this (EX/EX-).    Surface noise/crackle in between tracks.    Easily noticeable crackle on the quiet intro to ‘In The Evening’.    Audible light pops on ‘I’m Gonna Crawl’.    Overall, NO distortion   NO jumps   NO sticking. 

Visually the vinyl is graded as VG.  Surface-only marks – none that feel to the touch.

Labels are EX.    Spindle marks evident.    All text perfectly readable.    NO writing.   NO stickers. 

Sleeve is in EX- condition.   Creasing/dent to one corner.   Small creases around the edges.  No obvious edge wear.   All spine text perfectly readable.    NO seam splits  NO tears  NO writing.  NO stickers.   

Outer brown paper cover is in EX/EX- condition.   Usual fraying to the opening edge.  Small pen mark on the back.    NO seam splits  NO nasty rips  NO stickers.   

Inner sleeve is VG.   Reason for low grade is that the “magic painting” has been done; otherwise inner would be graded higher.   Small creasing to one corner, and a couple of small stain spots.   NO seam splits  NO tears  NO stickers.

Record Collector Magazine Grading System  - VINYL

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint

EXCELLENT (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG) The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratches. Normal wear and tear on the cover and extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable

GOOD (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeable deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and or deface

POOR (P) The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing

BAD (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken and is only of use as a collection filler
