LED ZEPPELIN Led Zeppelin III (Atlantic 940 051) RARE French 1st Pressing A1/B1 MINT
RARE very first French pressing of the debut album by Keith Relf`s Renaissance, the eponymously tiltled "Led Zeppelin III", on Atlantic Records (October 1970).
Here`s one for all you Led Zeppelin completists out there: An impossible-to-find RARE first pressing of "III" with the alternative sleeve, only used in France.
"I keep nursing this love-hate attitude toward Led Zeppelin. Partly from genuine interest and mostly indefensible hopes, in part from the conviction that nobody that crass could be all that bad, I turn to each fresh album expecting — what? (...) The Zep, of all bands surviving, are today — their music is as ephemeral as Marvel comix, and as vivid as an old Technicolor cartoon. It doesn't challenge anybody's intelligence or sensibilities, relying instead on a pat visceral impact that will insure absolute stardom for many moons to come. Their albums refine the crude public tools of all dull white blues bands into something awesome in its very insensitive grossness, like a Cecil B. DeMille epic."  - Lester Bangs in Rolling Stone, November 26, 1970.

You will NOT find another original first pressing of "Renaissance" as nice as this one - especially at this bargain price: "True value for money" is the motto here!

eBay`s maximum shipping cost for the US is predetermined at $4. Obviously, the pricing system  does not foresee foreign sellers listing in the US. However, we cannot possibly ship a record from  Europe at this price. By purchasing, the buyer agrees with the mailing costs as outlined above.
