LED ZEPPELIN Living Loving Maid dj radio station 45 ONE-SIDED PROMO rare

LED ZEPPELIN's classic "Living Loving Maid" in a super-rare promo-only version, only given out to radio stations and other music business bigshots. Made with Living Loving Maid on one side and NOTHING on the flip side- it's blank. Why? Either they wanted to push the song and prevent DJs from flipping it over; or to improve the sound quality of the one side (companies used to claim that the blank side- actually not 'blank' but made with a silent 'checkerboard' pattern - improves sound quality).

Interesting, because all Zep fans know that Zep hated the idea of putting out 45s and never wanted to (the record company made them do it). Especially in this case because, having created a two-sided single (Living Loving Maid backed with Whole Lotta Love) they issue each song separately on a one-song promo with the same catalog number!

Original USA promotional pressing, not a reissue or counterfeit. Labels have radio station DJ writing (the date: 11/69 - and an 'X').  Vinyl is VG++.

The blank side has a perfect white label over a checkerboard-type groove, and “MFG BY SPECIALTY RECORDS” etched in the trail-off.  Blank side is not graded but is very clean except for one visible scratch.  Comes in original company sleeve, which is VG++.

All records are original pressings unless noted.  Visually graded, but questionable records are playgraded.  NM (Near Mint) is usually my highest grade for 45s.  See our Grading info.  Labels are NM unless noted; and item has no writing, stamps, stickers, drillholes, or other noteworthy defects unless specifically noted or shown in photos otherwise.
