Led Zeppelin : Physical Graffiti A1 / B4 / C1 / D1 1st Press
This first press plays to a superb standard with hardly any interference.  As always I have played every track in full so as to provide a 'complete' grade and the clarity, depth and power of the audio across all four sides is stunning!  This clarity of sound is very much in evidence in the quieter sections during In My Time Of Dying', 'In The Light' and 'Ten Years Gone'.  The playback is phenomenal!  And if you want the definitive version of the classic 'Kashmir' then look no further!  This version has a sonic quality that just cannot be faulted in any way, I have never heard better.  In fact the only 'real' intrusion on this first pressing are a couple of light clicks on 'Black Country Woman' on S4 but the rest of the side plays with perfect precision.  A stunning album!
The die-cut cover is in lovely condition and has only a small amount of wear on the top right corner, very small!  It has retained its original shape and structure so well and all the 'windows' are in perfect condition.  The 2 page folded insert and the two custom inners are also in great shape, they are practically 'as new'.
A genuine first pressing will only have an A1/B4/C1/D1 matrix and no Warner (W) logo on the labels.  The cover also has the Swan Song address near the top of the back cover.

Visual description
The vinyls are in great condition and still have a very strong glossy sheen with no scratches.  Only when you look under a strong light can you see some faint hairlines and one faint hairline scuff on S2 which has zero affect on the audio.  The run out grooves are super clean and the Swan Song labels are as close to perfect as is possible with no marking and barely any spindle wear.
Play grading
For once I will not give a detailed description of each track but of course my usual standards still apply as I will listen to every track in full and grade accordingly.
S1 plays with stunning quality throughout.  'Custard Pie' and 'The Rover' play with genuine power and depth and no interference.  The both grade as Mint but in a sense 'In My Time Of Dying' is the real highlight.  This is because the opening 'quiet' sections play with incredible clarity and the rest of this epic is superb also.  Perhaps a touch of inner groove distortion towards the end but that's vinyl and should not be downgraded as a result.  Mint- is fair.
'Houses Of The Holy' on S2 is faultless - it plays with exceptional power and depth and 'Trampled Under Foot' is just as impressive.  Both grade as Mint such is the quality of the audio.  The total classic 'Kashmir' plays with STUNNING quality and with no intrusion, it could not play with any greater precision, the 'complete' version you could say.  Mint is well and truly deserved.  What a version!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The 'Eastern' influenced intro on 'In The Light' plays with a clarity of sound that is just breath-taking, there is not even a single dust tick.  The only background on the entire track is a handful of light ticks during the next quieter passage and one that is a little louder but the remainder of this classic is perfect!  I think Near Mint+ is fair, not a grade I give often but it's about right here.  'Bron - Yr - Aur' is near perfect with only 3/4 light static ticks on the fade out and 'Down by The Seaside' has just one very light tick.  Mint- for the two.  'Ten Years Gone' plays beautifully during the quiet intro and then plays with stunning quality for the remainder, a couple of very quiet ticks no more.  Mint-
The opening two tracks on S4 'Night Flight' and 'The Wanton Song' both play 'as new' with no intrusion on the audio and the next track 'Boogie With Stu' is equally as good.  They are all Mint the audio is STUNNING!  'Black Country Woman' does have three minor static ticks and a couple of light clicks on the opening section but has no background from then onwards.  Let's say Ex- for the opening section and then Mint.  'Sick Again' ends the album in fine style with great power and depth and no interference.  A sublime Mint version.
In summary this genuine first pressing plays with superb audio on every side with hardly any interference.  The first record is more or less perfect and the only real intrusion are the two light clicks on S4.  This is unequivocally one of the finest examples of this album that I have ever had the pleasure in listening to and the overall power and depth of the audio is STUNNING.  As stated what is so impressive is just how well the quieter sections, the clarity of sound is so 'clean' throughout.  In conjunction with a great cover and near perfect inners this will add to any high end collection.
The Cover & Inner Sleeves
The iconic die-cut cover has been so well looked after and has only very minimal wear.  The wide spines are in superb shape and as per the first pressings it has the red lettering on the 'left' spine.  The corners, so often found in poor condition, are very clean and only the top right one has a minimal amount of wear.  The top opening edges have hardly any rubbing and the bottom edges have only a minor amount.  The front cover is stunning and the 'windows' on both sides are in perfect order.  The back cover is often marked / worn quite a lot near the top edge but it is very clean here with only a small number of tiny specks and just a little wear by the corners.  I think Ex+ is a honest appraisal overall.
The 2 page folded insert has the glossy 'satin' finish on both sides with a single fold at the bottom.  This is the first insert that came with the first pressing.  It is in fantastic condition with no marking and barely any creasing along the top edges.  The two inner sleeves are stunning without any marking / creasing and only the first one has a minor rub on the spine.
