Led Zeppelin : Presence A1 / B2
This A1/B2 first pressing plays with superb audio. Released on the 'Swan Song' label the band name and title on the front cover and the 'Apollo' logo on the back are embossed as per all the early pressings.

Visual grading
This vinyl is visually stunning and I can only detect a small number of very faint sleeve removal hairlines on S1. S2 is in immaculate condition and both sides have only been lightly played as there is hardly any spindle wear. It really is a beautiful looking vinyl and the audio reflects that.
Play grading
With very little static on the lead in 'Achilles Last Stand' does not disappoint. It plays with stunning power and only the end has some interference, three clicks and a little crackle. 'For Your Life' also plays with immense depth and again the bass is so strong, so much better than the recent reissues. There are a couple of light dust ticks but I am confident in grading this as Near Mint the quality is that good. 'Royal Orleans' ends the side in impressive fashion. With just one click sound there is hardly any 'background'. This track does play with a certain 'tinny distortion' type sound, usual on all the early pressings I find but apart from that it plays extremely well.
'Nobody's Fault But Mine' is stunning. There is a minimum of static on the intro and it then proceeds to play with great depth and awesome power. It plays so loud and true and the rhythm section is just incredible here. There is also no distortion which is a rarity. Wow! With barely any static in the quieter sections this is 'high end' audio. 'Candy Store Rock' and 'Hots On For Nowhere' play with faultless audio and deserve a Near Mint grading for certain. 'Tea For One' ends the side with sublime clarity once more. There are so many quiet sections and yet there is barely any static. It plays with stunning precision and definition and again no distortion, clicks or pops. A superb finale to an often underrated album.
The Gatefold
The embossed gatefold is in excellent condition with only a little shelf wear. The edges are very clean with no rubbing, just some light spotting. There is a minor amount of corner wear and the opening edge has no handling wear at all. The front cover has some light fading around the edges and a little discolouration by the spine and there is also a small sticker removal mark in the top right corner. The back cover is in great shape with very little fading. The inside of the gatefold is super clean apart from a little spotting at the top and bottom of the inner spine.
Inner sleeve
This has the rough textured feel and is made of thicker paper that only the first pressings had. It has a split on all three sides and some light spotting on both sides also.
The labels
They are both like new with only a couple of tiny spindle traces on each side and no marking or writing.

This record has been professionally cleaned on a Pro-Ject VC-S machine
