Description
LED ZEPPELIN Physical Graffiti (Swan Song SSK 89400) UK 1st Press A1/B4/C1/D1
This has been boxed up in my Dad’s loft for decades and is a first pressing of Physical Graffiti by LED Zeppelin. You can tell it is a first impression by the imprints / engraved text in the records which show as SSK 89400 A1 / SSK 89400 B4 on record one and SSK 89400 C1 / SSK 89400 D1 on record two.
This is a double album / LP on 12" vinyl with 2 records in a die-cut slip-case sleeve (with Kings Road address). The record label is Swan Song and the catalogue number is SSK 89400. Complete with the gatefold insert the condition is very good it better all round considering the age. The outer car is a little worn but inner cases, inlays and the records are in excellent condition.
First A1/B4/C1/D1 UK pressing with the rare B4 matrix on side 2. The outer slip-case sleeve has the original Kings Road address for Swan Song to the rear and there are no tears to any of the die-cut windows which often happens with this sleeve. Both inner sleeves are excellent.
Price for this record seems to be all over the place with up to £700 and as little as £50 being paid. An example in this condition I would think be worth anything upwards of £250 but I am only asking half that for a quick sale.
