Description
Unlike similar items on eBay, I KNOW my item is not a 1st Pressing. This is a 1978 (approx) RE with Die-Cut Outer Liner, IL Centerfold Insert and graphic/glossy inner lines. This is a Specialty Labs variant as well. The 1198 on the spine that some sellers are indicating as part of the catalogue # actually is the List price indicator number that Atlantic associated labels (Atlantic, SwanSong, Atco) used to cue retailers to their List Prices primarily for specially packaged items and double-Lp sets. Liberty and EMI in North America had a similar practice as did Columbia and CBS who would change the Prefix when an item was reduced to Super Saver 4.98-6.98 status.
That much I know but I believe that this was originally in 1975 a 10.98, when regular lps were selling for 5.98 and 6.98. In 1975, a double-lp wouldn't cost 11.98. That's my opinion any way. That's why I use Discogs, but it IS confusing with popular lps like this with SO many variants and pressings due to the print runs being so large for demand.
The audio has some flaws, the vinyl is scuffed and has some visible scratches
