Serious audiophile vinyl rock fans, here is the one you DON'T want to slip away from your fingers---and ears. This is the ever-so-hard-to-find Led Zeppelin Box Set entitled "Volume One" made by Classic Records RTH-3000 (or is it RTI-3000? The # is not on my box!) Made on high-quality Quiex SV-P Super Vinyl Profile 200-gram pressings. The first 4 Led Zeppelin LP's faithfully reproduced in the original sleeves and art work. No bar codes, II through IV are gatefolds like the originals. Only 750 of the boxes were made. These first 4 Led Zep audiophile LP's were also sold individually. They were said to be the 'inaugural' first 200-gram releases by Classic Records RTI to "kick off' the new 200-gram vinyl series.

The cover of the designer box has a small photo of each of the 4 album covers inside a black circle on a white background.

But what's the frosting on the cake about this whole thing is the special bonus: The 12-inch 45RPM one-sided test pressing of the classic song "Stairway To Heaven". And it's STILL SEALED, LIKE THE 4 ALBUMS.

And as we all know, there was no Led Zep single of this classic song sold to the public. Only rare promo-type items.Until these rarities were offered in limited edition.

The box itself, though, is not in mint condition. This was opened when I got it. Grading is as follows:

Box is VG++. There are some very small dark spots on the front, around the edges, also on the sides of box. One side has a dark smudge. Bottom front left corner slightly scuffed, but white color of box is not worn through. No splits or cuts on the box.

And ALL of the records inside are sealed! Nicely packaged inside with cardboard filler.

You folks KNOW how much the 12in. single sold for auction before. It was issued only with this box set. But a few singles by themselves made it out there.

You don't want such a rare Led Zeppelin vinyl artifact to get away from you. Not like this one!
