Description
Now selling my LP collection after 40 years in various attics (Please note I am not a record dealer!!). I bought the following record when I was living in Singapore in 1969/70.
LED ZEPPELIN - LED ZEPPELIN LP
Rare First AUSTRALIA press, 1969. This is the 1st Australian pressing, issued on a green & silver Atlantic label.

*UNUSUAL MATRIX NUMBERS* - disc appears to have two different Matrix numbers on each side.
MATRIX SIDE A: ST-A68/461-A (etched) also has SMX 30097 (etched).
MATRIX SIDE B: ST-A68/462-A (etched) also has SMX 30098 (etched).

DETAILED CONDITION: (See Pictures)
SLEEVES and "extra" INSERT
This was the second Australian sleeve version, which has an internally glued cover construction. The back cover with description of the band was unique to Australian and New Zealand first pressings and was soon replaced by a different back cover. Laminated on the front cover. There are light storage and ring rub marks to front and rear faces and corners. Edges and spine are straight and square. Text on the spine is clear. There is a very small tear and crease to sleeve edge (see picture). I think this cover is in very nice condition. - Exc
Inner sleeve is plain white paper with plastic inner. Sleeve is very clean and unmarked and contains the "Plastic bags can be Dangerous ... text". No splits, no tears. EXC+
Extra Insert - The Outer sleeve was manufactured by Festival Records in Australia and contains an original Festival Records form to apply for one of their L.P. catalogues.
VINYL (I do not have a record player so comments are made on visual only.)
SIDE ONE: There are one or two light scuffs/paper scratches. Overall clean and shiny. EXC
SIDE TWO: There are one or two light scuffs/paper scratches and one longer scuff possibly a light needle scratch in track 4. Overall clean and shiny. EXC
LABELS Both labels are very clean. Cannot easily see any spindle marks. EXC+
