Led Zeppelin x 5 Vinyl Collection inc 4 Red/Plum Pressings
On offer here is another fantastic Led Zepp collection with two red/plum pressings this time. One of them is the highly collectable first pressing of LZ II which has the incorrect 'Wreck' credit on S2. The other is LZ III which has the 'Celebration' error on S1. They are UK releases and all are first or very early pressings.
LZ II 'Wreck' does have numerous faint hairlines but there are no scratches and the audio is actually very impressive. S2 in particular is stunning and has barely any 'background'. S1 has a little interference but there are certainly no loud clicks or pops.
The LZ III vinyl is extremely clean with only one obvious long hairline on S2 and the audio is of a very high standard with only a small number of clicks on S2 during one section.
The other three records 'The Song Remains The Same', 'Presence' and 'In Through The Out Door' are visually stunning with a beautiful glossy sheen and have hardly been played. The audio plays with incredible clarity and depth and the vast majority is superb! There is only minimal interference on S1 of 'Presence' due to a mega small manufacturing defect. Any collector would be hugely impressed with the sonic quality on offer here.
The covers have no major issues and the final three in particular are in wonderful condition. LZ II is the original light brown version and as you would expect does have some wear but there are no rips or tears or major marking. There is just a little faint writing in one corner on the back cover. LZ III was printed in Germany as was often the case with the later red/plum pressings but remains very clean. The 'wheel' however is loose although it still rotates of course.
