Description
An ultra rare piece. This 1971 release of Led Zep's first album has the correct side two labelling and matrix numbers, on side one the matrix number corresponds, correctly, to side one of the album. However, the label for Yes' self titled album, side two (K 40034) has been applied instead of the correct side one label for Led Zeppelin.
The record looks pretty much unplayed and is NM. The sleeve has some signs of wear and dirt on the top of the sleeve and a small stain on the front to the right of the Zeppelin.
I have heard of other albums that have been mislabelled but never come across it before with Led Zep I. Certainly, I have never owned such a copy.
One for the ultimate Zep or Yes collector.

NEAR MINT (M): NO SIGNS IT HAS BEEN PLAYED
EXCELLENT (EX): VERY LIGHT AND/OR ONLY ONE OR TWO SURFACE MARKS THAT WOULD NOT AFFECT PLAY.
VERY GOOD + (VG+): LIGHT SURFACE MARKS NOT AFFECTING PLAY.
GOOD + (G+): PLENTY OF SURFACE MARKS OR LIGHT SCRATCHES BUT PLAYS OK. MAYBE SOMETHING LIKE A STICKER ON THE CENTRE LABEL OR BIRO MARKS ETC.
GOOD (G): A PLAYABLE RECORD BUT WELL MARKED AND USED, PLAY WILL INCLUDE LOTS OF CRACKLES AND POPPING MOST LIKELY.
FAIR / POOR: DON'T BOTHER
