Description
This is an auction for a rare LP by, Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin IV,(Four Symbols).
This was released by Atlantic records in 1971 and has catalogue number 2401012. This is the 1st press with a red/maroon label, see pictures for clarification.
Condition: The gatefold sleeve has buffing to the top and bottom edge and some very light dirt/discolour marks.
The original picture inner sleeve has a split to the bottom edge . Both labels look clean and new, under the closest of examnations a few spider spindle trails can be seen on each side. The centre hole is perfect and shows no signs of wear. The vinyl retains its new shine and looks immaculate in normal light, Under a very strong light a few very light and feather scratches can be seen, 1 on side one, 4 on side 2, these are completely non-audible. I have play tested this and found it to have superb audio through both sides. Playing with very little, if any, lessening in sound quality, with the music itself not suffering any reduction due to wear. Other than a few very quiet crackles heard (mostly at the very beginning of each side) this sounds new.
Graded at a strict VG+ / VG+. Certainly better audio and appearance than graded, down-graded for the feather scratches and few quiet audible crackles, near mint by most other traders.
