Before I start the description I want to make it clear that I ONLY SHIP WITHIN THE USA
Up for bis is this outstanding Led Zeppelin "Houses Of The Holy " original 1973 Atlantic Records stereo LP SD-7255 MEGA RARE true 1st pressing on the green and orange label with the Braodway,NYC address and without the "WEA" logo along the perimeter of the label. You wouldn't think that this is a very hard album to find concidering all the millions of copies sold. But there is a catch. In 1973 the Atlantic label had just merged with Warner Brothers, Elektra, and Asylum into the world-wide marketing powerhouse named WEA (WEA being the combination of the four labels), and was changing the layout of it's label as this album was going into production. As a result, only a minuscule number of the original run copies of this album, less than 2% came out on the ORIGINAL Atlantic label WITHOUT THE WEA LOGO along the perimeter of the label. Now to make this LP even rarer this is a Bob Ludwig masterd "hot pressing". His initials "RL" (Robert Ludwig) are etched in the trail-off vinyl of the LP. All of the wonderful elements of Bob Luwig's tradmark mastering style are on this LP: incredible clarity and balanced channel separation, vivid and spacious "ambience" sound, as well as wide dynamic, and fequency range of the sound spectrum. The Bob Ludwig pressings of this album are CONSIDERABLY rarer than the regular, non Ludwig copies of this album. This LP also contains a "STERING" STAMP in the trail-off vinyl which is proof of a 1st pressing. Now to make this LP even rarer the vinyl is UNPLAYED.
The cover of this LP is in mint- condition with 4 sharp corners and no writing, no dirt, no rips or tears and no ringwear, there are just 2 small creases at the top on the backside. There are no cut outs, no drill holes, no saw cuts and no cut corners.
The original thick textured inner sleeve is in mint condition with no rips, no writing,and no dirt
The labels are mint with no writing, no dirt, and NO SPINDLE marks
The vinyl is in mint- condtion with just some light whispy marks from the heavy stock inner sleeve and will be non sounding. The vinyl is UNPLAYED.
