Lee Dorsey "HOLY COW (What Ya Doing)" Acetate
b/w "OPERATION HEARTACHE"
1966
At 55 years old, this extremely rare acetate of one of Lee Dorsey's big hits looks as though it hasn't seen much needle-time... other than me playing it once. Shiny surfaces both sides and plays through without any issues at all - no jumps, clicks or pops.
As with many acetates, the artist's name doesn't always appear. EMI didn't put Lee Dorsey's name on this 1966 UK chart hit, but I can assure you, as a former pro DJ, this is definitely Lee Dorsey.
Comes in a hardback off-white sleeve which bears the number, 0631 in red ink. The sleeve is in excellent condition.
Make no mistake, you will more than struggle to find another one of these on eBay or anywhere else for that matter.
