DISC:  Vinyl is EXCELLENT, a beauty!  The playing surface is immaculate, with a high luster, played a small number of times and handled with care.  Plays beautifully with superb fidelity.  Labels are clean and pristine.

JACKET:  Jacket is nice VG+.  Front artwork is clean and bright, with a few slight traces of ring wear just beginning to appear and a tiny rip at the center of the right edge.  Nice seams and spine.  Top seam has a small split (approximately 2 inches) at right side.  Reverse has pencil and sticker mark at upper left corner, and small rip at the center of left side, otherwise very clean and white.  Not a deletion/cutout.  Overall a very nice jacket to accompany the great sounding disc.

Review:

“Altoist Lee Konitz meets up with baritonist Jimmy Giuffre, whose arrangements for five saxes (including the great tenor Warnew Marsh) and a trio led by pianist Bill Evans are sometimes equally influenced by classical music and bop.. Lee Konitz fans will probably want to acquire the obscure performances.”
