Description
The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's. An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored. These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay. With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await. My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner. I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed. I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find. All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment.
Pacific Jazz deep groove MONO vinyl LP PJM 406 - released 1958
NM vinyl looks new; beautiful sheen and gloss. Clean labels. Test played on NAD C555 turntable revealed clear crisp and quiet analogue sound. Tracks four and five side two had a modicum of brief light surface. The excellent laminated cover has straight spine and seams with no stubs or dents. Light edge discoloration consistent with age. Small nick wear lower left corner spine. Thin 2 1/2" horizontal laminate lift center throat from improper gluing. Barely noticeable ring wear. Overall an exceptionally nice package and great pressing.
