Description
Up for sale is a Lee Morgan Cornbread Blue Note Records (BLP-4222) Vinyl LP Record Album, "Audition Copy". This album was obtained from an estate & is in untested condition (I'm not a collector or vinyl expert, but will describe it as best as I can!). I don't see a date on the album or jacket. Album label markings 33 1/3" Microgroove Long Play, Blue Note Records, BLP 4222, Lee Morgan/Jackie McLean/Hank Mobley/Herbie Hancock/Larry Ridley/Billy Higgens. "Van Gelder" is on the dead wax. The back of the jacket is stamped "Audition Copy".
The vinyl itself looks to be in pretty clean condition (to my untrained eye), there is some light dust/debris (could use cleaning as there may be some fingerprints as well) and a some light scratches. The paper inner sleeve (which shows Atlantic Records so it's probably not original) shows some light wear such as folds & paper darkening. The jacket has an old sticker on the front & shows some light edge & corner wear (including a few small rips & paper discoloration).
