LEE MORGAN - RARE!!! FACTORY SEALED, ABSOLUTE MINT VINYL COPY OF THE BLUE NOTE CLASSIC JAZZ 1980 ISSUE. PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED "TARU" LP!
A riveting recording that featured the extraordinarily talented Morgan on Trumpet with Bennie Maupin, Tenor Sax; George Benson, Guitar; the under appreciated John Hicks, Piano; Reggie Workman, Bass and Billy Higgins, Drums.
As writer Mike Rozek states in his excellent liner notes, "Lee Morgan is no mere belter, but everything a trumpeter in his idiom can be: brash but sensitive, swinging and inventive, soaring while quirky, sarcastic yet reverent.
