COVER: EX- ~Basically an OUTSTANDING cover with only light rub visible on rich, unfaded front; none to snapping bright back. No creases, stamping, stickers, foxing or writing. Far left edge of back has age spotting. All edges straight, all corners sharp. Seams and spine 100% intact with no wear or splits.

VINYL: NM ~Only the faintest sleeve marks show under bright, hard light. Glossy vinyl plays like NEW throughout. Deep Groove, 767 LEXINGTON Ave. labels are pristine.

Spindle hole is snug and perfectly round. Both labels are snapping bright with no wear or marks of ANY kind, NO spindle marks. Vinyl plays super bright and clear with no background noise, distortion or groove whisper.

1st, "framed", non-laminated cover still shows full, lustrous "tooth" texture. Bright, super-clean back has bold, sharp, unworn print, with clear wear-free photos; very rare on these earliest Blue Note backs! Two of the corners show the lightest bumping, though still sharp. The age spots running along extreme left edge of back are actually lighter than they appear in photo; being a tan color rather than the dark gray they somehow(?) show from my camera.

EASILY one of the cleanest and brightest sounding original LEXINGTON Blue Notes that I have ever heard. This 1957 LP obviously has only had an extremely few, very careful plays in its life.

I sincerely doubt you'll find a cleaner 1st press of this very early Blue Note date from Lee Morgan available anywhere today at any price.
